English Class Adventures - Episode III [4/08/04]

Another series of funnies today. WEE!!!

1.) We just started reading Hamlet today. Everyone was complaining about how the story wasn't making any sense. Then Tom blurts out " Haha, we make less sense than this story!"

2.) There was a blue and yellow van that kept driving past the window. Mr. Goshorn was all confused and he said "What's with this van that keeps going by? It's like the Joker van or something..."

3.) Then Stewee hatched a plan. He said, "Mr. G., can we have breakfast in here tomorrow since we're getting out early?"

Mr. Goshorn said "That actually sounds like a good idea."

Stewee then said, "If we're doing breakfast, we have to go all out. Everyone bring something tomorrow."

So thanks to Stewee we got a free period and food!

4.) After our break, Mr. Goshorn was telling us about these giant peanut butter eggs he saw at the store.

Dan asked, "Did you get one for us?"

Mr. Goshorn laughed and said sarcastically , "Yeah, I got one for the class for being such wonderful students..."

Dan then said "You should have."

Then Sean said "Yeah, we deserve it!"

5.) Jed randomly said, "I wanna burn all my books..."

Then Jon started waving his Hamlet book around and said, " I bet this one burns well!"

6.) Wes raised his hand and asked, "Can we lay on the floor?"

Mr. Goshorn said, "No..."

Then I asked, "Just for a little while?"

Mr. Goshorn replied, "Nope."

Then Tom asked, "Can we fall asleep?"

Mr. Goshorn said, "No."

Tom asked, "Can we do what we want?"

Mr. Goshorn just laughed.

7.) Mr. Goshorn was annoucing that we would have a quiz on Hamlet tomorrow. He said, "Don't worry, it'll be open book."

Tom asked, "Can it be open note?"

Mr. Goshorn said, "No, sorry."

Then Tom said, "Well, what if I write my notes in my book?"

8.) And finally, we were interpreting some lines from Hamlet. Mr. Goshorn explained, "This one means 'Dress nice but not too gaudy."

Then Jed blurted out, "Yeah, leave your bling bling at home!"
