1.) At the beginning of class when Mr. Goshorn wasn't in the room, we all
planned to get him a gift because his last day is May 5th.
We were all trying to decide on something to get him.
Then Stewee said, "I know! Let's get him the Chapelle Show DVD!"
Everybody said "Yeah!"
We decided to get the Chapelle Show DVD for Mr. Goshorn because he has
never seen the Chapelle Show. The guys ask him every day if he has seen it
but he says he doesn't even get Comedy Central where he lives.
2.) Later, we were talking about the English Kings from the 17th century.
Stewee said, "Man, they need to get some new king names. They're all Charles and
stuff like that. It's getting boring."
Then Cory said, "Yeah. Charles is a stupid name."
3.) Then we had to get into groups to do some work.
Mr. Goshorn said, "Count off by fives."
Lyle was up first. He said, "One."
Then Jed was up next. He said, "Three... uhh... I mean two."
4.) Later we were reading a poem. We were discussing how the theme of
the poem was about being together.
Then Stewee said, "Mr. Goshorn, I'm getting a vibe from this poem, but
it's definitely not a togetherness vibe."
5.) When we went on our break we visited the Child Development class/daycare.
Suddenly, a little kid came running out of the room with chocolate on his hands yelling,
"AHHHHHH!!!!"
Then Buzz came running out behind him, yelling as well. They both ran into the bathroom.
The kid started getting a bunch of paper towels out of the dispenser.
Buzz said, "Okay, thats enough paper. Time to get back to the bat cave."
When Buzz was on his way back to class Jed said, "Hey Uncle Buzz, how about them kids? Crazy huh?"
6.) When we got back to class we were discussing more poems. We weren't discussing
the questions in the book though.
Jed looked at Mr. Goshorn and asked, "What number are we on?"
7.) Later we were learning about some 17th century poets.
Cory said, "These guys schooled Shakespeare."
Then Jon said, "Shakespeare got served!"
8.) Near the end of class Stewee asked, "Can we play dodgeball?"
Mr. Goshorn said, "Like I'm gonna let you guys play dodgeball."
Then Stewee said, " Come on, we need to mix it up in here a bit, ya know?"
